after having a horrible experience friday, causing me to go to urgent care before work. i am finally seeing the LIGHT!
i woke up this morning- and my back/hip/butt is feeling slightly better! sans medicine.
i feel great when i take about 6 ibuprofen. so to feel a little better without it makes me happy!
went to the gym yesterday for the first time since last sunday & did some arms and chest.
no cardio yet, but happy to be able to get something done in there!
baby steps…..
and strangly enough i have seemed to lose weight since i stopped running.
perhaps because im not eating like a man! lol

for real.
injured and it makes me want to jump off a bridge.
never had back issues before- and i NEVER want them again.
been 8 days since ive had horrid lower back pain.
8 fucking days since i ran.
been to a chiropractor. adjusted 3 times.
still nothing is helping…. except for ice and anti-inflams, but i cant ice my back 24 hours of the day and i dont want to keep taking pills.
i just want it to go away.
been crying alot about it.
my life has been taken from me and i dont know how to deal.
running is everything.
every fucking thing to me.
so i shall keep crying and keep getting jealous of people who are healthy & can run.
and to fill my time i shall not eat & load up on the weight training
lol

last night i completed 5 miles (at a pretty nice pace)
then my husband met me and we worked on chest and bi’s (tri’s for him)
it was nice.
we never work out together, mostly because of our schedules and when he DOES say hes coming, he usually says hes tired or doesnt feel like it. waeehhh
this morning:
i set my alarm because i wont be able to work out after work tonight-
for 5 friggen am, and after three 5 min snoozes, i woke up and drug myself to the gym
SO GLAD I DID!
only did 4 miles but i always feel good being there early and the first couple steps are the only ones that are hard.
mixed it up some- did some incline joggin in with it too.
tomorrow i shall RUN ALOT! no more 4’s and 5’s. i need a solid 7!!!!
let’s do diis!
not to mention i AM SO EXCITED FOR THE WEEKEND!! its supposed to be nice and i am planning longs runs both days, OUTdoors!!!! :)))))

april 1st- 6.5
april 2nd- 5.25
april 3rd- 7.5
april 4th- OFF (realized i had ran 9 days in a row)
april 5th- 7.5
today is april 6th and i am planning on doing 6.5
side note: last nights 7.5 was a test!!!! i started off with a 3.5 mile run (hard), then did 300 meter sprints for the 4th mile, 5th mile i started off 7.2 and got to 8.2 by the 6th mile. came back to a 6.0 jog for a lap and then turned up the heat from 6.25-7.5 miles. i dont know how i did it but i managed to 8.2mph it for the entire last mile!!
and i was already breathing pretty heavyy
it took everything out of me to finish. and when i did i was totally feeling it.
my face probably looked like i was suffering from a massive heart attack.
plus it looked like i pissed myself so im sure it was a pretty nice sight hahah
buuuutttt it was worth it to finish that strong!!
